Henry Spratt Jones, 82, 0f 511 East Main Street died Wednesday, April 4, 2012 in Anderson, SC.
Born in Pendleton, he was a son of the late Catherine Russell and Samuel Columbus Jones Sr. He was a disabled US Army Veteran of the Korean War and had a big interest in antiques. He was a member of Refuge Baptist Church.
Surviving are his daughter, Shiela Wood and husband, John of Pendleton; son Henry Allen Jones and wife, Jaye of West Union, SC; sisters, Celena Massey of LaFrance, SC and Gracie Marvin of Walterboro, SC; grandson, Joshua Chad Jones and wife, Jessica; and great-granddaughters, Kaleigh Nevaeh Jones and Christian Rivers Jones.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Geraldean Barker Jones and brothers, Russell Jones, Sam Jones, Jr. and William Jones.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3:15 PM, Friday at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central with Graveside services to follow at Refuge Baptist Church, Central.
The family is at their respective homes.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Ark Hospice, 101 Grace Drive, Easley, SC 29640.
