Henry Alton McCuen, 69, of 265 Hunts Bridge Road, died Thursday, November 19, 2009 at his home.

Born in Greenville County, Mr. McCuen was a son of the late Carl and Vivian Stallings McCuen. He was a member of Nine Forks Baptist Church. Mr. McCuen was a truck driver for VF Jeanswear and had a special love for tractors.

Mr. McCuen is survived by his wife, of almost 50 years, Wanda Ellenburg McCuen of the home; a son, Tony McCuen of Clinton; three daughters, Donna Hall and Gayle Amos, both of Dacusville and Karol Raines of Mauldin; a brother, Roland McCuen of Pelzer; a sister, Erbie Bonds of Simpsonville; grandchildren, Ben Hall, Lisa Crumpton, Amy Hall, U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Kiaya Amos, Chris Amos, Kristin Raines and Colin Raines and great- grandchildren, Dylan Hall, Samuel Hall, Dani Hall and Kahle Crumpton.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a brother, Fulton McCuen and a sister, Onell Gilbert.

Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Nine Forks Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Jack Hester. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Sunday, in the church Family Life Center, prior to the service.

The family is at the home.
