Henry Clifford Turner "Cliff" 83, husband of Joan Rogers Turner, passed away March 18, 2019. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, he was the son of the late Henry Robinson Turner and Gertrude Dial Turner. Joan was his childhood sweetheart, his lifelong love, and wife of 63 years. He loved and lived for his family. He is survived by his wife, their three sons Steve Turner (Julie), David Turner (Yolanda), and Jonathan Turner (Jennifer); as well as five grandchildren Rosemary Turner, Megan Basilio (Alex), Julia Fafejta (Eric), Amelia Turner, James Turner, and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Alice Jo Olive. He is preceded in death by his granddaughter Berkley Turner.
Cliff was a veteran of the Air Force National Guard, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Limestone College. He worked many years in the aircraft industry and retired from Cryovac, Inc in Duncan, SC as manager of the quality control department. He was an avid photographer and developed museum quality black and white prints. His treasured photographs will forever remind his family of this deep love and talent. There will be a private family service at a later date. Donations may be sent to Shriners Hospital and condolences to Legacy.com.
