Herbert Lee Parham, Jr. 70, husband of Sarah Lindsay Parham passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at his home.
Mr. Parham was born in Spartanburg County, and was a son of Betty Hope Parham of Central and the late, Herbert L. Parham, Sr. After graduating from Clemson University, he worked for Michelin Tire Company at Sandy Springs for many years and most recently served as a legal assistant for Parham, Smith and Archenhold Attorneys.
He attended New Spring Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are three sons, Herbert L. Parham III, and his wife, Cathy of Norris; John David Parham and his wife, Belinda; Thomas Neely Parham and his wife, Khristy all of Central; and one daughter, Elizabeth "Liz" Parham Kiser and her husband, Rusty of Wilson, NC and twelve grandchildren.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Michael Parham.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Trinity Wesleyan Church, 700 Issaqueena Trail, Central, SC 29630.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
