Hilda Beatrice "Bea" Sheriff

Hilda Beatrice "Bea" Sheriff, 97, of Sunset, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024.

Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Mattie Blanche Sheriff.

Bea graduated from Alcoa High School in Alcoa, TN and retired from the SC Department of Transportation after over 30 years of service. She was the oldest member of Dacusville United Methodist Church, where she attended the Adult Sunday School Class.

Bea is survived by a niece, Ramona Gravely (Sam) of Sunset.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Pauline Thomas and Vivian Watson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Dacusville United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Dacusville United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2024 at the church.

The family would like to thank the loving staff of Wren Hospice for their care of Bea. They would also like to say a special thank you to her caregivers, Genna Talbert, Ana Olvera, Ashley Owens, Ashley Reece, and Lexie Reece.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Dacusville United Methodist Church, 1339 Thomas Mill Road, Easley, SC 29640.
