Hilton Clyde Eades, 89, of 839 Dalton Road, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at his home.

Born in Oconee County, a son of the late Rev. J.B. and Maggie Pearson Eades, Mr. Eades retired from Monaghan Mill after forty-two years of service and was a member of Jones Hill Church of God where he belonged to the Men's Sunday School Class. He was a veteran of World War II having served with the US Navy.

Surviving are his wife, Maxie McConnell Eades of the home; three brothers, Waymon Eades of Six Mile, Milford Eades of Walhalla and Paul Eades of Easley. In addition to his parents, Mr. Eades was predeceased by two brothers, John Edward Eades and J.W. Eades and by four sisters, Clara Bell Smith, Ruth Hester, Blanche Simmons and Gladys Howard.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday at Jones Hill Church of God Cemetery.

Visitation will be from Noon until 1:45 PM Thursday at Jones Hill Church of God.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jones Hill Church of God, 1014 Dalton Road, Marietta, SC 29661.

The family is at the residence.
