Homer Crowe, 89, of Highland Road, husband of the late Mary Brown Crowe, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018 at his home.

Born in Easley, SC, he was the son of the late Wade Thomas Crowe and Carrie Kay Crowe.

Mr. Crowe was retired from Alice Manufacturing after 45 years of dedicated service where he was a member of the 1956-1957 Alice Manufacturing Baseball Championship Team. He was a member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church, a US Navy Seabee Veteran of WWII, and member of the American Legion Post 52. He always appreciated Alice Manufacturing and the McKissick family for the job opportunity and the baseball experience he so greatly enjoyed.

Surviving are a son, Ronald V. Crowe (Janis) of Easley; grandchildren, Vance Crowe and Jason Crowe (Heavenly); great grandchildren, Justin Crowe, Brandon Crowe, Emily Sentell (David Lamar), Desiree Crowe, Aaliyah Crowe and Juliette Crowe; a great-great granddaughter, Audrey Lamar; sisters, Victoria Crawford and Oveline Medlin; and a special childhood friend, Edwin McCollum.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Marjorie Rogers, Opal Chastain, Flora Anderson, Ethel Hines, Inez Rampey and Lois Nealy; and brothers, Roy, Billie, J.B., Paul (Peanut) and Carl Crowe.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM at the funeral home.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the 1956-1957 Alice Manufacturing Baseball Championship Team and players that played with Mr. Crowe.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Easley Little League, 1 Dartford Court, Easley, SC 29642.

The family will be at 1030 Highland Road, Easley, SC 29640.
