HOWARD E. ALLEN, Ed.D. - Central, S.C.
Dr. Howard Eugene Allen, 82, widower of Alice Huffman Allen, died Friday, April 24, 2009 at the Prince William Hospital in Manassas, VA. A native of Knoxville, TN, he was the son of the late Troy Clifford and Audrey Bowling Allen. He received his Ed.D. degree from the University of Tennessee and was a retired Professor of Psychology at Southern Wesleyan University in Central, SC.
He is survived by daughters Cynthia A. Bonatucci and husband Mark of Bristow, VA and Suzan A. Watt and husband Bruce of Columbia, SC; brothers, Glenn M Allen and James B. Allen, both of Knoxville, TN; sister, Charlotte A. Tampas of Knoxville and 3 grandchildren, Christopher Allen Bonatucci, Elisa Mariel Watt and Haley Allison Watt.
Funeral services will be 3pm Saturday at Central First Wesleyan church with burial to follow in Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church 1:30-2:45pm prior to the service.
