Howard Ray Haynie, 65, of 103 Riley Road, died Sunday February 23, 2009 at his home.

Mr. Haynie was born in Royston, Georgia, a son of the late Howard "Dock" and Maude Davis Haynie. He retired as the owner and operator of Haynie's Used Cars in Greenville and was a Shriner. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and was a Methodist.

Surviving are his wife, Sue Hance Haynie, of the home ; three sisters, Doris Padgett, Betty Mulkey and her husband, Jimmy, all of Easley and Sheila Jo Bryant and her husband, Glenn, of Piedmont.

Memorial Services will be 3:00 pm Wednesday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, with the Reverend Cy Rogers and Reverend Mike Cox officiating.

The family is at the home and will receive friends from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm Wednesday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
