Hoyt E. Lawson

Hoyt Lawson Sr., Loving Husband and Father, went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 31, 2016. Born Oct. 18, 1943. He was the son of the late Forrest and Dolly Lawson. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran serving with HOW BATTERY 3/2 ACR (AMBERG), From March 1960 to March 1966. He was a long time member of the Brandon Masonic Lodge. His favorite past time was spending time at the beach with his family.

 

Survivors include his wife Elizabeth J. Lawson; sons, Hoyt Lawson Jr. (Elizabeth), Joseph Lawson, and Randall Harrison (Rita); Daughters, Becky Blume (Mark), Jeannie Crittendon (Clayton), and Karen Simmons (Robbie). He is the Grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 4th at 2pm at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, 1425 Powdersville Road, SC, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 3rd from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home.Family has requested donations be made directly to the Cancer Society of Greenville, 113 Mills Avenue, Greenville, SC 29605.
