Hubert Ellery Camp, 86, of 302 Peachtree Street, died Saturday, May 30, 2009 at his residence.

Born in Stephens County, GA, a son of the late Clifton and Minnie Sims Camp, he was a retired employee with Steele-Heddle of Greenville, a member of AFM Lodge 189, a member of Carmel Presbyterian Church and a US Army veteran of WWII.

Surviving are his wife, Lula Black Camp of the home; a son, James E. Camp and wife, Judy of Easley; a sister, Grace Clark of Easley; grandsons, Scott and Jason Camp; and a great-grandson, Seth Camp.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by six brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be 2 PM, Monday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Dr. John LeHeup officiating.

Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 PM, Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.

The family is at the home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Interim Hospice, 775 Spartan Blvd, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
