Ida Mae Evans Woody, 89, wife of the late Joe Clayton Woody, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, February 7, 2021.
Born in Ware Shoals, a daughter of the late Robert Evans and the late Bertha Stokes Evans, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed listening to gospel music, playing bingo, and spending time with her family. She was a member of New Life Christian Worship Center in Greenville.
Surviving are a son, David Woody (Arlene) of Easley; daughters, Ann Frady (Tommy) of Easley, Edna Page (Henry) of Easley, Donna Burns (Bob) of Anderson, and Cathy Siniard of Easley; eighteen grandchildren; and thirty-two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Becky Reynolds; brothers, William Evans and Albert Evans; and grandchildren, Sherman Hammond, Robbie Burns, and Delone Kelly.
Funeral services will be held at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens. Scroll to the video player below to view the service.
