Illa Alexander Selbert, 102, widow of Edwin Jack Selbert, died Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.
Born in Cincinatti, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Bertha Schmitt Alexander.
Illa was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, solving cross word puzzles, eating out and going for a drive.
Surviving are a son, Edwin Jack Selbert, Jr, of Orlando, FL; 3 daughters, Mary Anne (Jerome)King of Naples, FL, Alix (Douglas) Johnson of Central, SC, and Betty Jane (Dr. Douglas) Marker of Seneca, SC; 5 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Illa's cremated remains will be buried at a later date in Cincinnati, OH.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be made to an Animal Rescue organization of your choice.
