Imogene Morgan Apsey, 84, wife of Norman E. Apsey passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Cottingham Hospice House.

Mrs. Apsey was born in Pickens County and was a daughter of the late William Allen and Lillie Vernon Hunnicutt Morgan.  She was retired from Jacobs Manufacturing and was a life long member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are one son, Allen Gilstrap (Sheila) of Easley; two daughters, Sandi Williams (Glenn) of Richmond, VA and Kim Bryant (Larry) of Central; one brother, William Allen Morgan, Jr. of Richmond, TX; eight grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Theron Morgan and a sister, Mildred Kennemore.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, September, 26, 2016 at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
