Mrs. Ina Bell "Nanny" Nix, 83, wife of the late William Roy Nix, died Monday, May 3, 2010, at her home.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Walter J. and Florence Gunter Wilson, Mrs. Nix was a retired Weaver.
Surviving are four sisters, Martha Aiken of Detroit, MI; Betty Davis of Piedmont; Frances McJunkin,and Ruth Simmons both of Easley, and three grandchildren Crystal Hulsey and Terry Nix, Jr., both of Easley, and Tracy Radford of Liberty; eight great grandchildren, Nikki, Jaime, Gia, Ezekiel, Tailor, Tarah, Avery, and Aiden; one daughter- in- law, Linda Nix. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Nix was predeceased by two sons, Terry Gene Nix, Sr. and William Nix, Jr.; three brothers, Bill, Junior, and Sam Wilson; two sisters, Mary Finley and Bessie Mae Welborn.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Mr. E.J. Reece officiating. Burial will follow in the Pickens View Wesleyan Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:30 P.M. Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
