Inez James Cothran, 86, formerly of South 6th. Street, peacefully passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Mountain Home Health and Rehabilitation in Mountain Home, NC with her loving family by her side.
Born in Pickens County SC, she was a daughter of the late Joseph H. and Rosa Manley James. She was a homecare provider and a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Cothran is survived by a daughter, Debbie Howard and her husband Charlie of Greenville; two brothers, Charles E. (Torchy) James and his wife Annette of Easley and Joe (PeeWee) James of Pickens; one sister, Irene McCauley and her husband Johnny of Ft. Inn; two grandchildren, Josh Howard and his wife Jenna, Jay Howard and three great-grandchildren, Avery, Caroline and Anna.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cothran is predeceased by her husband Jay Cothran and by three brothers and a sister.
Graveside funeral services will be held Monday in Greenlawn Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m, Sunday, February 21, 2010.
The family is at their respective homes..
