Inez E. Sheets

Inez E. Sheets, 87, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 29, 2020. She was born in Central December 5, 1932 a daughter of the late Calvin and Elsie Mann. She is a past member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Central.

Inez grew up in Central and later attended Anderson University. After she received an Associate's degree in accounting and worked at Stone Manufacturing and later at Massey-Ferguson. Inez later started her own accounting firm.

When she wasn't working, Inez enjoyed sewing and re-finishing antiques. She loved NASCAR, especially Tony Stewart. Inez just loved cars. She also was member of the Eastern Star.

Inez is survived by a son, Roland Hamby, Jr. of Greenville; a daughter, Rhonda Pippin of Greenwood; seven grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Henderson (Josh), Sarah Hamby, Ross Hamby (Monica), Chadd Pippin (Elyse), Casey Pippin (Nikki), Allison Ashmore (Matthew) and Cody Pippin; 10 great grandchildren and one on the way. In addition to her parents, Inez was predeceased by two husbands, Roland B. Hamby and Jerry Sheets; two brothers, Harold Mann and Calvin Mann, Jr.; and a sister, Betty Mann.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 6 at the Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, 108 Cross Creek Rd., Central, SC.

The family will receive friends at from 1-1:45 PM prior to the service.
