Iona Burgess Littleton, 92, of 307 Robinson Bridge Road and loving wife for 73 years of William Isaac "Ike" Littleton, died Friday at Capstone Health and Rehab of Easley.

Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Manning C. and Nora Catherine Herd Burgess. Mrs. Littleton was a retired textile employee and a member of Central First Baptist Church. She loved gardening and canning.

She was the oldest and last surviving member of her immediate family having been predeceased by brothers Clyde, Roy, Coy and Ralph Burgess and sister Edna Allsep. She was also predeceased by a great-grandson, Isaiah Thompson.

Mrs. Littleton is survived by her husband; daughter, Shelby Thompson and husband, Herbert of Central; grandson, Greg Thompson and wife, Kim of Central; great-grandsons, Justin and Zeke Thompson; and great-great granddaughter, Delilah Thompson.

Funeral services will be 3 PM, Monday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Qualkinbush officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be from 2 to 2:50 PM, Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.

The family is at the home of Herbert and Shelby Thompson, 419 Brock Street, Central, SC 29630.

The family would like to personally thank Mrs. Littleton's caregivers, Sue Jones and Amy Campbell and her hospice nurse, Patti Nelson for their loving and caring support.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Central First Baptist Church, 207 Johnson Road, Central, SC 29630 or to Medi Home Hospice, 302 A, Central Park Lane, Seneca, SC 29678.
