Irene Monroe Bagwell, 91, wife of the late Franklin Bagwell, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021.
Born in Pickens County she was the daughter of the late John and Essie Allen Monroe.
She attended Calvary Baptist Church, loved to crochet, and was a "maw maw" to everyone.
She is survived by her sons Jimmy Bagwell (Judy) of Pickens, James A. Bagwell (Linda) of Pickens, Daniel L. Bagwell (Ellaine) also of Pickens; sisters, Mary Whitmire of Belton, Rachel Sheriff of Easley, Jennette Hartsell of Central; seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband Franklin; brother Lewis Monroe; sister, Martha Ferguson; a great - grandson; and a great – granddaughter.
A visitation will be held Monday, December 27, 2021, from 6:00PM until 7:30PM at Robinson Funeral Home – Downtown, Easley.
A funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at 1:00PM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home – Downtown, Easley.
Interment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Easley directly after the funeral service.
