Mrs. Iris Adams McCoy, 77, wife of Brad K. Brooks, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014 at her home in Crawfordville, GA.

Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Monfred W. and Pauline Carlton Adams, Mrs. McCoy retired as a nursing assistant with Baptist Easley Hospital and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving, in addition to her husband of thirty-eight years, are two sons, Randy McCoy and Kurt Brooks; a daughter, Jenny Alexander; a sister, Gwen A. Holliday; three brothers-in-law, Richard, Vincent, and Bill Brooks; ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and her beloved cat, Baby. In addition to her parents, Iris was predeceased by a son, Benny Joe McCoy; two brothers, Charles and Jerry Adams; a sister, Jean Browning; two brothers-in-law, Jerry and Junior Brooks; and three sisters-in-law, Sybil Stewart, Juanita Medlock, and Marian Fowler.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 12, 2014 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
