Iris R. Selby
Iris Rivera Selby, 74, of Easley, wife of the late Darrell Dewayne Selby, passed away Monday July 5, 2021.
Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Josue Rivera Albert and Virginia Nieves Albert Rivera.
Mrs. Selby was retired from KEMET Electronics Corporation in Simpsonville. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. She also proudly served her country in the US Army.
Surviving are her daughters, Sundi Fuller of North Myrtle Beach, and Christina Sanchez of Greenville; a stepson, Darrell D. "Chip" Selby, Jr. (Brandy) of Palestine, IL., grandchildren, Sgt. Alerick Sullivan, Trenton Sullivan, Zachary Sullivan, Pvt. Zane Sullivan, Anthony Sanchez, Travis Selby, Meagan Ramsey, Brooklynn Selby, Blake Selby and Gracie Selby; great grandchildren, Isaiah and Dominic Sullivan, Natalie, Rhett and Tatum Ramsey and Anna Selby; a sister, Ruth Boyer of Greer; and a brother, Josh Rivera of Simpsonville.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Migdalia Goodwin.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 9, 2021, from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens in Piedmont.
