Iva Elizabeth Farmer Porter, formerly of 135 4th Street, Woodside Community, went to be with the Lord Saturday February 21, 2009 at Palmetto Health Baptist - Easley.
Mrs. Porter was born in Greenville, a daughter of the late J.B. Farmer and Abbie Davis Farmer Moon. She was a graduate of Parker High School and retired from Stone Manufacturing. She was a member of Woodside Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Sheila Barton and her husband, Marshall, of Easley and Debbie Douglas and her husband, Creighton, of Greenville ; sons, Terry Porter and his wife, Teresa, and Jay Porter and his wife, Debbie, all of Greenville ; a sister, JoAnn Padworski, of California ; a brother, Bill Farmer, of Slater - Marietta, SC ; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Smith Porter.
Graveside Services and burial will be 2:00 pm Monday in Graceland Cemetery, West, with the Reverend Ronnie Williams officiating.
Family members are at their respective homes and will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 1:30 pm Monday at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, Easley.
