J. Irene McMurray Grimm Campbell, 93, formerly of Sharpsville, PA, died Thursday, March 5, 2009 at her residence at Countryside Village in Easley, SC.
Born in Sharpsville, PA, a daughter of the late Francis and Nettie Mae McWilliams McMurray, she was a homemaker and a member of Easley Presbyterian Church. She was a former member of Covenant Presbyterian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star in Sharon, PA.
Surviving are a daughter, Margaret J. Grimm Mattson and husband, William of Easley; two grandchildren, Amy Mattson Williams and husband, Todd, and Rebecca Mattson Trimble and husband, Paul; four great-grandchildren, Laken, Will and Ava Juliet Trimble and Mattson Williams.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her first husband, Elmer C. Grimm, her second husband, James Meade Campbell; two brothers, John and Robert McMurray; and two sisters, Margaret Greggs and Thelma Calhoun.
Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
