James Ray "J.R." Coyle, 67, of 408 Georgetown Drive, died Saturday, July 19, 2008, at Palmetto Health Baptist Easley.
Born in Greer, the son of the late Frank Ray "Mickey" and Faithful Shirley Chandler Coyle, Mr. Coyle was a member of Wren Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Cecile Reeves Coyle of the home; his beloved Chihuahuas, Snowball and Scooter; a daughter, Darlene Stewart of Missouri; a special niece and nephew, Phyllis Cook and Raymond Cook, both of Pickens; and six grandchilden.
Memorial services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2008, at Wren Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Sanders officiating.
Visitation will be at the church immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Wren Baptist Church, 120 Wren Road, Piedmont, SC 29673.
The family is at the residence.
