J. Joseph Egan

J. Joseph Egan passed away on May 11, 2015, at age 89 after a brief period of declining health.
Joe was the husband of Joan (nee Miller) Egan for 66 years. He was a native of Louisville, KY, where he graduated from Male High School and attended the University of Louisville. He was a proud WWII era veteran of the US Army. After a career as a marketing executive for the building materials industry, Joe and Joan retired to Tucson, AZ. They recently relocated to Clemson, SC. Joe loved travel, symphonic music, golf and the Kentucky Derby but most of all, he loved his family.
Surviving are sons, John J. Egan III (Linda) of Ashburn, VA, Clifton S. M. Egan (Diane) of Clemson, SC, and Christopher G. Egan (Penny) of Tucson, AZ, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Eleanor Egan Tudo (John), of Phoenixville, PA.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00AM, May 16, 2015, at St. David's Church in Radnor, PA.
