Jack Houston, 81, of Easley, husband of Geraline Stokes Houston, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013 at his home.

Born in Pickens County, Mr. Houston was a son of the late John Robert Houston Sr. and Madge Lee Barton Houston. He was the owner of the Basket House, Aunt Sue's and Main Street Market in Easley, and was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife of fifty nine years, are a daughter Sonya Houston; and two brothers, Wallace and Donald Houston. In addition to his parents, Mr. Houston was predeceased by a daughter, LaDonna Houston; four brothers, Reverend Cecil Houston, Harold, Robert Jr. and Milton Houston.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 30, 2013 at St. Andrew United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. Friday, at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.

Memorials may be made to the Lord's Fund at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 309 Pelzer Highway, Easley, SC 29642
