Jack Parker Layton

Mr. Jack Parker Layton, Jr., 73, husband of Linda Pritchard Layton, passed away Monday, February 22, 2021.
Born in Warren, OH, a son of the late Jack Parker Layton, Sr. and the late Jonnie Faulkner Layton, Mr. Layton proudly served his country in the US Navy. He worked for many years at GE and Cryovac as Quality Control and was a member of Hunt's Memorial Baptist Church in Easley.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Vicki Barnett (Britt) of Hodges, SC; a brother, Tom Layton (Kathy) of Easley; a sister, Diane Harper of Frederick, CO; grandchildren, Savannah Leigh Parks, Austin James Evans, Ashton Noelle Evans, Carrington Grace Barnett, Casey Woods Barnett, and Bailey Crews Barnett; nephews, T.J. Layton, Jr. (Kelly), Tyler Layton (Kendall), Scott Harper, Mark Harper (Kara), and Shawn Harper; a niece, Amy Anthony (James); eight great-nieces and nephews; and his best buddy, his dog, Caesar.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Les Parks; and a brother-in-law, Jerry Harper.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Robinson Memorial Gardens Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hunt's Memorial Baptist Church, 501 Alex Drive, Easley, SC 29640 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org.
