Mr. Jack Lee Terry, 75, husband of Mrs. Connie Terry, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at his home in Slabtown, SC.
Born in Spartanburg County, a son of the late Rufus M. and Cora Lee Solesbee, Mr. Terry retired from Constar International and was a member of Slabtown Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are two sons, Jeff (Janet) Gatewood of Myrtle Beach and Mike Terry of Slabtown; three daughters, Danita Gerber of GA., Linda Terry of Kansas City, MO., and Shelly Terry of Marietta SC; two step son Sam Campbell and Tom Campbell; three sons-in law, John Nabors, Scott Studhope and Walt Gerber; sister in law Barbara Hill and Fontella Moore; seven grandchildren, Cody Terry, T.J. Terry, Michael Jr., Lindsey Terry, Misty and Christie Gatewood, Adam and Hayden Campbell; two great-grandchildren, Talon Terry and Pippi Smith. In addition to his parents, Mr. Terry was predeceased by a brother, James Terry; a sister, Jewel Hyatt.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Slabtown Baptist Church, 6918 Old Greenville Highway, "Highway 88", Liberty, SC 29657.
