Jack Walton

Lester Jack Walton, 77, husband of Jeanette Copeland Walton, passed away Friday, November 23, 2018.
Born in Georgia, a son of the late George Ben Walton and the late Myrtice Myers Walton, he was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed horses, antique cars, watch collecting, and spending time with his family. Mr. Walton was a United States Army National Guard veteran and a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church in Easley.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughters, Libby Walton Foster (Jeff) of Washington, GA and Lana Lanette DuRant (Jim Juritsch) of Richmond, VA; and four grandchildren
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Clyde Walton, George Alexander Walton, and Tankersly Walton; and a sister, Frances Echols.
A gathering for family and friends will be held at at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Silver Bay Restaurant, 7027 Calhoun Memorial Highway, Easley, SC 29640.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to www.stjude.org/
