Jacqueline "Jackie" Turner Fowler, 71, of Easley, passed away Friday, October 11, 2013 at her home.
Born in Greenville County, a daughter of the late Rev. John Thomas and Maude Shelton Turner, Mrs. Fowler retired as secretary with Holder Properties and was a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving are her husband of fifty-one years, Melvin C. Fowler; a son, Rev. Robert S. Fowler and wife, Diane; a daughter, Dee Baldwin and husband, Rev. Rick; a brother, James Turner and wife, Lucile, of Marietta; five grandsons, Josh (Tiffany), Zachary (Jade) and Jeremy Baldwin, Andy (Susanna) and Jacob Fowler; and one great-grandson, Caleb Richardson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fowler was predeceased by two brothers, Rev. Calvin and J.B. Turner and two sisters, Corrine Turner Darnell and Lilly Mae Turner Duncan.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Robert Fowler, Rev. Rodney Graham and Rev. Rick Baldwin officiating. Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 3:00 until 5:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brushy Creek Baptist Church, 100 Clay Street, Easley, SC 29642.
The family is at the residence.
