Jackie R. Holden

Jackie "Jack" Raymond Holden, 72, husband of Bianca Trice-Holden, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 4, 2020. He was born in Central October 3, 1948, a son of Ransom I. and Gladys (Crenshaw) Holden. He was a member of Cannon Memorial Baptist Church in Central.
After graduating from DW Daniel High School, Jack served his country in the US Army as a member of the 82nd Airborne. He later attended Tri County Tech where he studied welding. He was a successful mechanic for many years, building his own garage, "Jack's Auto", which he owned and operated for 40+ years before turning it over to his son Jackie in 1998. Jack was a very active person, enjoying hunting, fishing and auto racing, especially dirt track racing. He loved watching his boys and his grandkids race as well.
In addition to his wife, Bianca, Jack is survived by three children. He has two sons, Jackie (Paula Satterfield), and Harley of Central; a daughter, Kristi Bryson (Mark) of Six Mile; three brothers, Leroy "Lee" Holden of LaPine, OR, Folger "Buddy" Holden of Central, and Dennis Holden (Teresa) of West Union; a sister, Nancy Williams (Dennis) of Ravenel; six grandchildren, Breanna "Banana" Holden, Madison "Popcorn" Holden, Levi "Wing Nut" Holden, Hunter "Bang Bang" Childers, Tyler "Porcupine" Childers, and Chloe "Little Kristi" Bryson. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Wesley Holden.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 7 at Cannon Memorial Baptist Church, 120 Pepper St., Central.
The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 PM Friday, November 6 at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, 108 Cross Creek Rd., Central.
