Jackson Albert "J.A." "Pop" Wilkie, 87, of 301 Moore Road, died Friday, May 11, 2007 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Wilkie was a veteran of the US Marines and the Marine Reserves, and was a member and deacon of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son; one brother; two sisters; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Myrtle May Gates Wilkie; a son; a daughter; and several brothers and sisters.
A graveside service will be 4:00 PM Monday at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Monday prior to the service from 2:30 until 3:45 PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown.
The family is at the home.
