Terry Jack "Jacky" Hellams, 62, of Easley, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2011 at his home.
Born February 25, 1949 in Pickens County, he was a son of the late Oscar and Iv Garrett Hellams. He retired from the City of Easley Public Works Department and was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Hellams is survived by his long time companion, Judy Murphy Brissey, sons, Daryl Hellams and wife, Taffie, Michael Brissey and wife, Amy; daughters, Lisa James, Terri White, Christine Burgess, Cindy Stancil and husband, Tommy, and Kayla Crawford and husband, Ranzie; sisters, Juanita Huffman, Nettie Whitaker, and Barbara Whitaker; 13 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Ernest Hellams; and a sister, Laura Rendon.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 6, 2011 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 PM Sunday, prior to the service.
The City of Easley Public Works Department will be Honorary Escorts.
