Jacky Glenn Holbrooks, 77, husband of Rosalee Kennedy Holbrooks, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his family.
Born in Greenville County, a son of the late Glenn Holbrooks and the late Annie Lucille Butts Holbrooks, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who enjoyed fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family. He proudly served his country in the US Army and he was a fabricator for Elliott Metal Works for many years. He was a member of 5 Point Church in Easley.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are sons, Bobby Eugene Holbrooks (Lynn) of Simpsonville and James Scott Holbrooks (Dusty) of Easley; brothers, Michael Holbrooks (Rita) of Piedmont, Wayne Holbrooks (Kelley) of Anderson, David Holbrooks (Lisa) of Easley, Richard Holbrooks (Denise) of Greenville, and Don Holbrooks (Angie) of Piedmont; sisters, Peggy Chasteen of Piedmont, Pat Lockaby (Keith) of Easley, Barbara Holbrooks of Easley, and Mary Brock (David) of Columbia; grandchildren, Andrea Black and Samantha Holbrooks; and great-grandson, Isaac Deems.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. A private burial will be held in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the funeral home, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to 5 Point Church, 1039 S. Pendleton Street, Easley, SC 29642.
