Jacob "Gene" Leonard, 58, of 125-B Roper Street, died Thursday, May 27,2010 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Winston Salem, NC, He was the son of tha late Charles Hobert and Ruby Byrd Leonard. He was employed with the City of Easley and of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving are a son,Larry Dean Leonard(Crystal) of Liberty, Steven Eugene Leonard of Advance, N.C.; brothers, Charles Ronald Leonard of Lewisville, N.C., Ralph Hobert Leonard of Mocksville, N.C.; one grandchild, Shana Leonard of Liberty; special friend, Polly Owens of Easley.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by, one brother, David Michael Leonard; sister, Patricia Gail Holmes.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, with The Reverend Boyd Lusk officiating. Burial will follow in Fellowship Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Sunday, at the funeral home prior to the service.
The family is at the home of the son, Dean Leonard, 116 Pineknoll Rd. Liberty, SC, 29657
