Jaen W. Cantrell

Jaen Waldron Cantrell, 91, of Watkinsville, GA passed away January 29, 2023.  She was born in Atlanta, grew up in Baxley and Alma, lived in Chamblee, Ga. and worked at the Internal Revenue Service Center for many years before retiring with her husband to Six Mile, SC and then Watkinsville, Ga. where she resided at the time of her death.

She was the daughter of Richard P. and Marie S. Waldron.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Richard R. Waldron, William (Bill) F. Waldron, Rachel Waldron, Helen Hyatt; her husband, Heywood B. Cantrell; and their oldest son, Randall David Cantrell. 

She is survived by her children, Betty Hudson (Don), Karen Nance (Larry), Brad Cantrell (Elizabeth); six grandchildren, Alan Moncrief, Josh Nance, Madison Cantrell, Samantha McMillan, D. J. Cantrell, and Blake Cantrell; and four great grandchildren, Jackson Moncrief, Addalyn Holland, Brylee McMillan, Thalia Cantrell, and a fifth is due in March. Jaen was a loving wife, mother, and friend. 

Services will be Saturday, February 4, 2023:  10 am burial, Hillcrest Memorial Park, Pickens, SC followed by a memorial service at 12 noon (receiving friends at 11 am), Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, 108 Cross Creek Road, Central, SC.
