Jaimie O. Bethea, MCSN
Jaimie Olivia Bethea, 21, daughter of the late Amy Calderon-Bethea, passed away June 20, 2026.
Born in Norfolk, VA, and raised in Easley, South Carolina, Jaimie was actively deployed for over ten months with the United States Navy. She served as a Mass Communications Specialist, where she served soley publishing all photos and videos as well as writing articles for all ship related missions (USS FORT LAUDERDALE LPD28).
Jaimie was a 2022 graduate of Pickens High School, where she was a member of the marching band. She played the clarinet, her tunes described by her best friend and band-mate as “mellow, moody, like a cat purring”. She was an incredible, lively and whimsical person who enjoyed drawing, reading, comedy (her comfort shows were family guy and the big bang theory, most recently she was enjoying tell me lies as well as nature documentaries), fashion and thrifting especially, arts and crafts, and road trips with family.
Surviving are her siblings Arianna Calderon, Andre Calderon, Jalen Bethea, Malik Bethea Evanna Martinez and Kruise Bethea her father, Andre Bethea; her niece Wednesday Bethea, and her fiancée, Leroy DeCruz.
The family will meet with friends and family on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, 305 W. Main Street, Easley, SC 29640, with a service to celebrate Jaimie’s life to follow at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Easley.
