Mr. James Andrew Armstrong, 72, husband of Judy Hall Armstrong, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018.
Born in Greenville County, a son of the late John Lucia and Mildred Hollingsworth Armstrong, Mr. Armstrong was a graduate of Dacusville High School and retired from A&R Fire Protection. He was a member of Peters Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of fifty-two years, are two sons, James Eugene Armstrong (Mary) of Newberry, and Michael Allen Armstrong (Roxanne) of Marietta; a daughter, Gwen Denise Armstrong of Marietta; two sisters, Dale Moser of Greenville, and Reba Gilstrap of Easley; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Armstrong was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters.
Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, February 24, 2018 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until 9:45 AM Saturday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family is at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Roxanne Armstrong.
