James Charles "Charlie" Bagwell, 89, of 4505 Old Easley Bridge Road, passed away Saturday February 26, 2011 at McCall Hospice House.
Mr. Bagwell was born in Easley, a son of the late David Calvin and Etta Hopkins Bagwell. He was a U.S. Army veteran of W.W. II and retired in 1981 from Pilot Freight Carriers. He was a Baptist.
Surviving are his wife, Freda Wilson Bagwell, of the home; two sons, Ricky Bagwell and wife, Becky, of Lyman, and Dea Bagwell, of Greenville; two daughters, Laura B. Becknell and husband, Doug, of Easley and Dawn B. Thompson, of Greenville; 6 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Pearl Hayes.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with the Reverend Roy Porter officiating.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Monday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
The family is at the home.
