James Ray Bailey, 31, of 207 Our Road, died Monday February 5, 2007.
Born in Easley, he was a son of Carolyn Elrod Bailey of Pickens and the late Wayne G. Bailey. Mr. Bailey was self-employed and the owner of Bailey's Engine Repair. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Thalia Elrod; one daughter Emily Rae Bailey of the home; one sister, Rhonda Billingsley of Pumpkintown; two nieces, Brittany and Millie Billingsley of Pumpkintown; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, James M. and Louise C. Bailey and his maternal grandfather Murel Elrod.
Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday February 8, 2007 at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverends Roger Todd and Tommy Hayes officiating.
The family is at the home of Carolyn E. Bailey, 207 Our Road, Pickens, SC and will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home ~ Downtown.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Trust Fund for Emily Rae Bailey c/o Rhonda Billingsley, 44 Lagerholm Mountain Road, Pickens, SC 29671.
