Mr. James Hollin Baker, 88, husband of Peggy Ann Aldridge Baker, passed away Monday, August 13, 2018.

Born in Concord, NC, the son of the late Oscar and Zettie Griffin Baker, Mr. Baker was a graduate of the Atlanta Art Institute where he received his Bachelor's Degree and retired from Stayon Inc. as an Artistic Designer. He attended Marathon Community Church and was a US Army Veteran having served in the Korean War.

Hollin was an outstanding artist and loved to make hand carved wooden walking canes. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of sixty-five years, are two sons, Jeff Baker (Christy) and Lance Baker; a daughter, Dawn B. Barrett; four grandchildren, Joshua Baker, Zachary Baker, Taylor Baker and Dylan Barrett. In addition to his parents, Mr. Baker was predeceased by a sister, Evelyn Kerlley.

The family will host a visitation at the home on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. 300 Austin Avenue, Easley, SC 29640.
