Mr. James Marshall Bell, 78, husband of Ruby Banks Bell, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016 at his home.


Born in Six Mile, the son of the late James Walker and Christine Smith Bell, Mr. Bell was a graduate of Daniel High School and a retired truck driver with Walmart. He was a member of Easley Church of God.


Surviving, in addition to his wife of fifty-seven years, are two sons, James Marion Bell of Charlotte, NC, and Rickey Allen Bell (Brandi) of Easley; one sister, Duane Hellman of Atlanta, GA; five grandchildren, Tyler Bell (Judi), Kelsea Bell (Travis) and Mackynsi Bell (Chris), Makayla Patterson and McKenzie Patterson; and three great-grandchildren Isabella Newman, Cooper Fortin and Kyler Bell. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bell was predeceased by a granddaughter, Morgan Leeyn Bell.


Funeral services will be noon Wednesday, October 12, 2016 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Entombment will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum.


The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.


The family is at the home.
