JAMES 'Jimmy' C. BROWN Pendleton
James 'Jimmy' Calvin Brown, 69, died Friday, February 9, 2007. He was the son of the late Vernie Lee and Berthie Cheeves Brown. He was a retired construction worker. He is survived by sons: Michael J. Brown of Pendleton and Donnie M. Brown of Athens, AL; stepson Charles D. Gillespie of Belton; brothers: Larry E. Brown of Huntsville, AL and Gilbert Brown of Gurley, AL; sisters: Ella R. Webb of Gurley, AL, Barbara Smith of Athens, AL, Jennifer Hambrick and Lavonne Jetton of Harvest, AL and Vivian Robertson of Lincoln County, TN; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Peggy Jane Littleton of Pendleton, brother, Vernie L. Brown, Jr. and a sister, Gail Brown.
A graveside service will be held at Fants Grove Baptist Church Cemetery on Sunday, February 11, 2007 at 4pm. The family is at the home of a son, Mike Brown, 210 Central Road, Apt. 115, Pendleton, SC 29670.
