James Kenneth "Jim" Clinkscales, Jr.

James Kenneth Clinkscales, Jr., 73, husband of Valorie Graham Clinkscales, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022 at his home.

Born in Boundbrook, NJ, a son of the late James Kenneth Clinkscales, Sr. and the late Charlotte Schneiderwind Clinkscales, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed classic cars, racing, and spending time with his family. Jim retired as a mechanic at Michelin after thirty-six years of service and he was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church in Anderson.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Kenneth Wade Clinkscales of Easley; a daughter, Angela Renee Clinkscales (Axel Scherwinski) of Weimer, Germany; a sister, Judith Brooks Howard of Belton; and grandchildren, Simon Ulrich Scherwinski and Carla Nell Scherwinski.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Robinson Memorial Gardens Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.

The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. until 3:15 p.m. Tuesday at the mausoleum, prior to the service.
