James Henry Evatt, Jr., 54, husband of Cynthia Nix "Cindy" Evatt, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014.
Born in Greenville County, to the late James Henry and Frances McQueen Evatt, James was an avid golfer; he especially loved playing at Saluda Valley.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, is a son Daniel Evatt; a daughter, Summer Evatt; and two sisters, Bernice Nalley (Daniel) and Brenda Bowers (Marvin Masters).
Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Robinson Memorial Gardens.
A visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road, prior to the graveside service.
The family is at the residence.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimers Research at http://www.alz.org/join_the_cause_donate.asp or to the Pickens County Cancer Association, 444-B Hampton Ave., Pickens, SC 29671 or to a charity of one's choice.
