James Milburn Eyer, 80, of 115-D Auston Woods Circle, formerly of Midland, Texas, died Sunday, October 26, 2008, at Palmetto Health Baptist Easley.
Born in Olney, IL, a son of the late William Herman and Mary Irene Schmoker Eyer, Mr. Eyer retired from Occidental Oil Company and was a member of St. Matthias Luthern Church.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Lou Albin Eyer of the home; two daughters, Merriellen Johnstone of Easley, and Jane Poe of Bastrop, TX; grandchildren, Tracie Kadura, Jamie Smith, and Carrie Ferguson, and James and Meredith Johnstone; great-grandchildren, Breanna Smith, Mackensy and Riley Ferguson, and Luke and Nicole Kadura. In addition to his parents, Mr. Eyer was predeceased by three brothers, Willard, Fred and Carl Eyer.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
The family is at the residence.
