James P. Fisher

James Paul Fisher, 77, of 201 Blair Street and husband of Betty O'Dell Fisher, died Monday, October 8, 2007 at his residence.
Born in Easley, a son of the late William Romie and Mamie Welchel Fisher, he was a graduate of Easley High School, a retired Supervisor with Alice Manufacturing and a member of Park Street Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are a son, Mike Fisher and wife Denise of Asheboro, NC; four daughters, Kathy Holcombe and Loretta Cox and husband, Jimmy all of Easley, Tammy Reed of Greenville, and Cynthia Roach and husband, Lewis of Pickens; one brother, Charles Fisher of Piedmont; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a step-son, Scott O'Dell; and six brothers, Loyd, Romie, Waynard, Billie, Edward and Johnny Fisher.
Funeral services will be 4 PM, Wednesday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Revs. Donnie Massingill, Ricky Gilbert and Tim Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
