James Christopher Fowler, 83, husband of Dorothy Chapman Fowler, passed away Monday, April 7, 2014.
Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late Carol and Nettie Fowler. Mr. Fowler retired from textiles and was of the Baptist faith. He was a US Army Veteran. James never met a stranger and was kind hearted and dearly loved. He will truly be missed.
Surviving are a son, Jerry Fowler and wife, Lisa, of Anderson; one sister, Pearl Dalton; three grandchildren, Anessa, Lindsay and Nathan Fowler. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Ray Fowler.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2014 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Meals on Wheels, 105 S. Fant Street, Anderson, SC 29624.
