James Robert "Jimmy" Galloway

Mr. James Robert "Jimmy" Galloway, 72, of Easley, loving husband of Helen Jean Wilson Galloway, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Hospice of the Upstate ? Rainey House in Anderson.
Jimmy was born in Easley, SC on July 27, 1942 to the late Roy and Beatrice Ramage Galloway. He retired from Alice Manufacturing Company as a weaver and loved hunting, fishing, racing, and especially spending time with his family and friends. Jimmy was a United States Navy Veteran, stationed in Hawaii and spent a lot of time on ships between there and Japan.
In addition to his wife, Jimmy is survived by a son; Robbie Galloway (Melissa Harrison), of Easley; a brother; Harvey Galloway of Easley; and a sister; Doris Dogens of Easley. Jimmy is also survived by three granddaughters; Nicole (Chad Edwards), Silver, and Skye; one grandson; Cody; and three great-grandsons; Kelton, Cooper, and Rebel.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home ? Downtown.
The family is at their respective homes and will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jimmy's name to Hospice of the Upstate ? Rainey House, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
