James G. Gaston, Clemson
James George Gaston, 87, of Clemson Downs, died Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Oconee Memorial Hospital. A native of Laurens, he was a son of the late William F and Bessie Gaston. He retired from Anderson, Clayton & Co. after 33 years of service. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a long time member of Clemson United Methodist Church.
Surviving is a sister, Helen Gaston of Atlanta, GA and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday at 1pm at Clemson United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at City of Laurens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clemson United Methodist Church Building Fund, 300 Frontage Rd, Clemson, SC 29631.
